Grow Together
Be part of a team whose purpose is to change the way people think, feel and experience senior living.
We believe that each of us is an important part of something bigger than ourselves. Together, as a team, we build each other up and support each other daily. Most of us have chosen to work at The Springs Living because it satisfies more than our need for an income; it fulfills our desire to serve others.
TEAM Heart Beat
Kathryn Teach
SERVER > QUALITY COORDINATOR
Kathryn began working at The Springs at Tanasbourne in June 2009 as a server. She learned quickly and moved through various positions until landing as the Business Office Manager. Known as a great listener with a positive attitude and knack for problem-solving, in 2018 Kathryn was recruited to the newly formed Quality Team.

Laarni Small
CAREGIVER > EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
Laarni is an active example of continual growth with The Springs Living. Starting as a caregiver, she quickly moved through the ranks of health services eventually landing as the Administrator for The Woods at Willowcreek. In 2017 Laarni was promoted to Executive Director of the two communities in Salem - The Springs at Sunnyview and The Woods at Willowcreek. Her contagious smile warms everyone’s heart and cloaks the buildings in a sense of comfort.

Mervin “Spike” Jones
CAREGIVER > MAINTENANCE ASSISTANT
Spike’s career path is unusual in that he started as a caregiver with The Springs at Missoula, in 2010, and three years later transferred to the plant operations department as a maintenance assistant. Whether we have a maintenance issue or a non-maintenance problem, Spike will help because he believes we are all here to make our residents’ lives better and easier. He also demonstrates that you don’t have to be a caregiver to provide care and support.
